Exclamation Secondary DNS server update (some Resellers and SD customers affected)

Dear resellers,

We've updated our secondary DNS IP for the following servers:

TIGER
LEOPARD
ELEPHANT
LION
LION7
DC2
DC15
DC22
EU1
B2

If you server ID is listed here, please submit support ticket for new IP for secondary IP (ns2 or dns2) ONLY if you use
private DNS. If you use our DNS, changes took effect immediately.

We changed our secondary DNS IP in September 2013, less than 1 year ago. This is abnormal, we keep our DNS IPs (especially
private DNS IP) for at least 5 years. We do apologize for the inconvenience.
We decided to use local DNS (close to our office in New York) in order to improve redundancy, reliability and also better support
dedicated servers on East Coast: Manhattan (PEER1 Datacenter), Pennsylvania and Washington DC.

How to update secondary DNS server IP:

1. Login to your domain registrar control panel - where you registered your domain name and also your DNS. If you registered domain name
and DNS with WestNIC, please submit support ticket and we'll update DNS IP for you.

2. Find "host records". For example, in Godaddy control panel it's called "host names" or "hostnames". In other domain registrar control panels "register DNS" or "register name server".

3. Find secondary hostname, ns2.yourdomain.com (or dns2, it depends how you named them in the past). Then replace old IP with new one.
To obtain new IP, please contact us via 24/7/365 support desk: https://support.westnic.net

Thank you so much for cooperation and continued support!
