FTP Problems

I keep experiencing this error when uploading files...it only seems to happen when I'm uploading a large number of files. I've had this happen multiple times, on different directories -

Failed to establish data socket

Also...does your FTP support upload resuming?

1) Disable your firewall (especially if you run Sygate)
2) You cannot upload more than 2000 files at once.
3) Account can be disconnected due to inactivity (15 minutes)

What is the reason for not allowing 2000 files or more to be uploaded for an FTP session? That is what the problem is...I guess I will have to break up the files and transfer seperately
