WestNIC provides free eNOM (http://www.enom.com) domain reseller accounts to premium resellers (http://www.westnic.net/reseller-hosting/). If you sign up with eNOM directly, you would pay $995 (http://www.enom.com/pricing.asp) just for account setup. We provide free setups and, most importantly, $8.95 domains (.com, .net, .org, .us, .biz, .info). We sell domains on our website for $11.95 and most our resellers sell them for $9.95 - $19.95 per domain name per year.
Last year eNOM decided to increase domain prices (http://www.enom.com/price-notification.asp). All eNOM resellers reacted immediately by increasing domain prices on their end. We didn't change anything.
Right now most well known reseller hosting providers giving eNOM accounts with $9.45 - $11.95 domains.
Instead of increasing prices, we decided to keep them as low as possible because we understand our resellers, we know how it works. We're in the same boat. Even $0.50 increase will make a big difference. Unfortunately, there are some rules we have to follow. We're not allowed to provide $8.95 domains anymore (according to our eNOM agreement). However, we did everything possible to avoid domain price increase. Here we go:
If you activated eNOM account with us prior March 31st, your price will remain almost the same - $8.99 per year per domain name. That's $0.04 increase which we were unable to cut.
If you didn't activate your account yet or signed up after March 31st, domains will cost $8.99 per year per domain name.
